when making a website, its a good idea to also open it on your phone or something or use devtools -> responsive design mode so you can resize the viewport

it's much easier if you take care of the scaling stuff as you develop the website, rather than being done with it and only then trying to get it to work on other screen sizes

it's a good idea to keep it in mind *as* you're working on the website and not finishing the website and going "ok now how do i make it accessible"

this was mostly the reason why the second version of my website works *much* better than the first version

every time i add/edit an element or two, i move the window size around and check if it works well, otherwise fix it and its a lot easier like that

use `<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">`
but only if you know what it does and what you're doing (w3schools.com/css/css_rwd_view) because otherwise it can make it worse

@AgathaSorceress Hm, I have values like width=123 height=123 and on my phone it somehow shows up squished but on desktop its fine
